Sanid Organization for Relief and Development – implements the distribution of Eid sacrifices to vulnerable and needy families August 2020 (SORD) implemented during the holy days of Eid Al-Adha, June 2020 AD. Eid sacrifices were distributed to displaced, vulnerable and needy families in Sana’a governorate and Amanat Al-Asimah, as 3,200 families were targeted. Where, due to the Corona pandemic, Yemen is going through a crisis that has made the number of families in need increase. In this context, the (SORD) works to provide the food and relief assistance it can for those families suffering from the scourge of poverty and hunger. This distribution comes with the support and financing of a number of donors abroad and philanthropists, and the donors seek to assist the needy and vulnerable Yemeni families..
This distribution comes within the interests of the (SORD) to implement programs that alleviate the suffering of vulnerable families.(SORD) calls on all international and humanitarian organizations to extend a helping hand, assistance and support to such groups.
