Sanid Organization for Relief and Development – Yemen- implemented the Child Emergency Response Project in the field of Food yesterday on Friday, 17 November 2017, in partnership with the ACT Foundation.
``The implementation of the first phase of emergency aids was for malnourished children in Al-Tahami coast and who their number is 72 children( male and female) with their families,`` said project manager Bashir Saifan.
Saifan added that field visits was carried out by volunteers to choose children according to the entry criteria for forms of malnutrition and acceptance criteria in the treatment phases. And the volunteers continue to follow up the cases and provide them with necessary nutrition until January next year according to the project plan, even be there an improvement in their health conditions as well as expansion by targeting new cases in different areas of the governorates of the Republic of Yemen.
For his part, the head of the organization Mohammed Al- Kabous called on the officials in the World Food and Health Program to intervene in such projects to save the lives of children from the famine that threatens the lives of children of Yemen.
It is worth to be mentioned that the project, which is being held by Sanid Organization for Relief and Development, will continue for three months.
