SORD Organization and Kamran launch the distribution of (80) food parcels in the capital, Sana’a.
Within the framework of an effective community partnership between the private sector and humanitarian institutions, SORD Organization for Relief and Development launched on Wednesday 19 Ramadan 1438 corresponding to 15 June 2017 in Sana’a, distributing (80) food baskets for food aid provided by the National Tobacco and Sulfur Company (Kamran) to the number of families affected by the events in Yemen.
The launch of distribution aid comes within the plan of humanitarian and relief projects and programs implemented by the SORD Organization for Relief and Development with the aim of delivering humanitarian aid as stages to engage the Yemeni families most affected in the future that need assistance and support.
It is worth noting that the food basket, which was distributed with funding from the Kamran Company, includes every food basket: 20 kg of white flour, 20 kg of wheat, 8 kg of sugar and 8 kg of rice,
Families benefiting from food aid praised the humanitarian gesture of SORD Organization and the National Tobacco and Sulfur Company (Kamran), which coincided with the blessed month of Ramadan.
