On Sunday morning, April 30, SORD Organization for Relief and Development implemented the distribution of (250) food parcels of food aid provided and funded by the Indonesian organization (A C T) “AKSI CEPAT TANGGAP” to (250) families in the Directorate of Peoples in the capital city – Sana’a – Yemen.
In a media statement, the Executive Director of SORD Organization for Relief and Development – confirmed that the organization distributed (250) food parcels funded by the Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT) Organization working in the humanitarian field for the first time in Yemen to a number of (250) of the affected families “displaced” And affected families “host community” and widowed women, noting that the launch of such aid for the mentioned cases is only the first stage, and will be followed by other stages of aid that include large numbers of affected Yemeni families that need help.
The CEO of SORD Organization said that the food basket of the Indonesian assistance (A C T) includes its contents ((25 kilos of flour, 10 kilos of rice, 10 kilos of sugar, 10 cans of fava beans, 2 kilos of dates, 4 liters of oil)).
On the other hand, the families that benefited from the assistance provided by the Indonesian organization expressed their great happiness and praised the humanitarian gesture of the Indonesian organization and SORD organization.
